Best Turkey Chili and Quilty Stuff!

Best Turkey Chili?

I live in Massachusetts so you know I’m going to say, “They did it again!” It is hard to believe that another Super Bowl is in the books. We had our friends over for a fun night of football, food, and a little bit of crocheting! I’ve been trying to stick to my Weight Watchers food plan and I was determined to find the best turkey chili with zero points! I found it!

I was on Pinterest looking around and this recipe popped up. I’m going to take a liberty here and assume that everyone reading is aware that the underlined words are a link to the recipe? If you click on the words ‘this recipe’ above it will take you to the recipe! Anyway, the only change that I made to the recipe was cutting the salt by at least half. I think I’ll omit it entirely next time because there’s a lot of salt in the taco mix as well as the canned beans. Now, this is zero points until you add the shredded cheese, sour cream, and yummy nacho chips! I really have to give it an A+, it is definitely the best turkey chili I have found.

Also, if you’re over on Pinterest looking for more recipes and such, I put together a Valentine’s Day board with quilts, recipes, drinks, crafts, etc. It’s kind of fun to look at, you can find it here.

I finished up Eileen’s quilt on the long arm this week. What a beautiful job she did on it. It was the Jacob’s Ladder quilt from our summer quilt a long. Her niece helped to choose the thread and pantograph design.  I just love how it came out!

I’m still plugging away on the portrait quilt of Lindsey when she was a young girl. I’m hoping to work on it more this weekend.

I’m also needing to begin work on my February Step Into Your Art 2019 challenge. The theme is connection. I have something in mind and I’ll give more details later on that…which is code for…I haven’t started it yet! LOL!

The last few blog posts have been answers to questions that readers have…if you missed them, click on the blog links and check them out. There was one on Top Reasons To Attend A Quilt Workshop and What Is A Pantograph in Quilting?

If you have questions that you’d like me to answer here on the blog or on the podcast, please let me know! I’d love to help.
