Winding Down 2018

Today is the last day of 2018 and I’m ready to ring in the New Year! How about you?
We had a wonderful Christmas filled with family, friends, and fun! This was our Christmas morning selfie…

I received a few crafty Christmas gifts including sewing machine inserts for my Sew-Ezi table. The inserts are so that my Eversewn machine and my Featherweight will both fit nicely in the table. I also received a book on hand lettering from Greg! I also received a beautiful wooden sign with a quilty sentiment from my sister and also a gorgeous quilty cross stitch from my sister in law. I’ll post those pictures on the next blog post.

Today I’m getting my 2019 Quilter’s Planner in order for the new year. I love that it has a habit tracking section each week. I’ve chosen to track things like exercise, taking makeup off at night, 10 minutes of decluttering daily. Today I got a head start and cleaned the pantry out…Good Lord you can not imagine how many boxes of expired granola bars lived in here…but it’s looking good today…

Have you chosen your word or words for 2019? Mine are create and slow. I’m looking forward to allowing myself the time to create without a rush. The first part of that involves the Step Into Your Art 2019 challenge that I’m hosting. You can read more about it here.
I will be thinking about this challenge more this week as I start to figure out how I’ll incorporate the January theme of Light The Way.

My Craftsy shop has been officially taken down along with many other wonderful shops while Craftsy works out a reorganization. If you have purchased patterns there, those are still available to you in your Craftsy account. You can find all of my patterns and the book in my Etsy Shop.

The Christmas tree and decorations will come down tomorrow which makes me sad and happy in equal parts. Sad because y’all know how deeply I love Christmas and happy because I’m ready for routine and healthy eating!

Happy New Year!!!
Sandi
