January is about half over and I have to say all my students are totally crushing it this week with finishes! To say I’m proud is a definite understatement! I was booked up with private lessons this week and I had a fantastic time catching up with everyone and seeing projects come to life.

Gail finished up her Royal Star top and it is royally spectacular!

Sandy finished up her Life Is Good t-shirt quilt top and this was her FIRST quilt project! Once she got her new machine she was up and running and took this right to the finish line!

My mom finished up her gorgeous jelly roll slice rug! Look at those colors!

I had the pleasure of helping Nancy this week with her brand new machine. We had a fun morning playing with all the stitches and figuring out all the capabilities that the machine has.

And I took Lola Jenkin’s online thread sketching class and created this thread sketch of Lindsey.

What a week! This week coming up I’ll be working on customer quilts on the long arm and prepping for an upcoming landscape quilt workshop here at the house. And I’m still working on a fabric collage.

Tonight I’m looking forward to being cozy by the fire as we watch the snow fall. Those white flakes are due here any time now.
