How January Is Going

I’m really hurting today for a blog post title, can you tell? Lol!  So we’re cruising right through January. All the decorations are down and the long arm is back up and running. Today I’m working on Sharyn’s beautiful pinwheel quilt. I am in love with the choices she made for thread and the pantograph design. That mocha thread is one of my favorites to use on the machine.

I finished up Lindsey’s crochet cowl. She’s modeling it here…

And here it is laid out flat…

I enjoyed working on a crochet project that only took a short time to complete. I’m still not positive I did it correctly but I was happy doing it and I think that’s the main idea. Next I’m looking to make a headband. Leah said she’s be a happy recipient of one so I’ll give that a go soon.

Yesterday Gail came to class and we worked on a binding for her quilt and she gifted me with this adorable mug! It matches my kitchen and I just love it!

I mentioned in the last podcast that my sister in law had made me a beautiful cross stitch…and here it is! It’s so lovely and I know how much time went into making it. They do take so long but are sooooo worth it.

One of our bunnies, Daisy, went to the groomer this week…how is this for a before and after photo!!! She came home and was hopping all about, you just know she felt good about herself! You go girl!!

All the girls are still home so I’m enjoying their company every chance I get. In between I’m working on my art challenge project and Sharyn’s quilt.

There’s a little flurry in the air and it looks so peaceful. Enjoy your week!
