Tuesday’s Progress

It was a glorious fall weekend here in MA. Each day’s weather was more perfect than the one before! We went apple picking and attended the Harvest Hoedown at the local orchard. It was a great weekend and then today, we woke up to rain and thunder. What a difference a day makes!

I didn’t sew at all over the weekend but today I finished up a Frozen tote bag.

And I started a baby play mat with this cute charm pack from Riley Blake.

I like to use the Window Pane 9 Patch from Missouri Star Quilt Company for the baby mats.

I finished two of the four 9 patch blocks.

I would have done more but I got sidetracked by this cutie who wanted constant petting this morning.

A few months ago I signed up to be on the launch team for Karen Ehman’s Keep It Shut book. I enjoyed reading an advanced copy and talking about it on the blog and social media. I’ve been given the chance to be on the launch team for her new book, Hoodwinked. I’ll be sharing my thoughts on this through Twitter and Facebook mainly. It’s a book that debunks 10 myths about motherhood. Here is the Amazon link if you want to follow along.

  1. This picture is fabulous! I’ll have to show my daughter. FYI – Bunnies also like quilts. If I was laying blocks out on the floor, one of our bunnies liked to push the fabric around as if she were designing the quilt for me. So funny.
