I’m looking out my window at snow that won’t quit!! LOL! Today is just a small amount but I guess we’re gearing up for a lot more in a 3 day storm starting Saturday night.

Being stuck inside has me wanting to order fabric and dyes…so I did! I ordered the Kiss Kiss charm packs because they are so stinkin’ cute. I do have a daughter heading to Paris so I might make a quilt for her while she’s away.
I also ordered 4 new dye colors for fabric dyeing. Sandy H. and I have agreed to cut into our snow dye fabrics and use them in a quilt project by March 15th. I need to pull out what I have and see what starts churning in my mind.
I am hoping to podcast tomorrow and to write the final blog post for Keep It Shut. We’ve got afternoons full of appointments so hopefully I can fit it all in tomorrow.

I checked out those colors you ordered and they’re pretty! Can’t wait to see what you dye with them. I have to place an order of my own soon–what with all this snow-dyeing I’m nearly out of PFD fabric. My patio furniture isn’t quite as buried as yours (I can still see the tops of my chairs) but still, doesn’t exactly look inviting, LOL. And we’re getting more snow this weekend…. Just remember, it’s February. Which means it’s nearly March. And then nearly April…
That Kiss Kiss fabric reminds me of the quilt, Love Notes ( I think, from the Missouri Start Quilt Co) Torie talked about and the charm pack she used. Yours is different, but the same and your idea for a Paris quilt might work well with that Love Notes pattern, because you have to get in touch by mail, email, etc, with your daughter in Paris. I plan to make one; I just have to wash the charm squares and find the pattern!
While the snow looks lovely, I’m sure you are tired of it by now. The farbic will make a great quilt.
