2nd Snow Dye Result

I got a second snow dye in yesterday. Here it is in the tub in its ‘snow cone’ stage…

This was Lemon Yellow and a very small amount of Fuchsia.

I think it was just enough Fuchsia to make some nice orange tones. This will be great fabric for sunsets and applique.

I’m just about out of textile detergent and soda ash so I’ll be placing an order with Dharma Trading this week. I’m excited to pick a few new colors to work with.

Looks like we have another 12-16″ of snow headed here for Monday…glad to see winter wasn’t broken but seriously…enough is enough!

I happily finished up a small quilt project this week that will accompany my 100 Blocks block in the next issue. I’ll be mailing that out as soon as I dig out of my driveway! February is tomorrow so I better get my goals in order for the month. I work much better with a list and goals. And I realized I haven’t recorded a podcast since the end of November…sorry about that. Look for one next week!!!

Have a warm and wonderful weekend!!!
