In case you didn’t get a chance to check out Pat Sloan’s blog yesterday, there is a review there of my book, Little Quilts for Big Occasions.  Here is the link:

I’m thrilled to have had the chance to be included in her awesome blog!

We had a super busy weekend here with the Brad Paisley concert on Saturday night and my youngest daughter’s birthday yesterday.  Leah turned 9 years old and she’s my baby!!  I just can’t believe how fast time slips away.  It really makes me thankful for the many blessings in my life, including all of you.

We had a blast at the Brad Paisley concert.  I discovered country music a few years ago and now I’m hooked!  Now I’ve got my husband hooked as well and the kids are on the fence.  Leah says she doesn’t like those “banjo sounding songs”…LOL!  They just about fell off their seats when I walked in with my new cowboy hat purchased at the show!  There was no way I was leaving that concert without my new pink hat!

I found myself wondering how many of those country music fans were also quilting fans and I’d bet there’s a whole bunch!  What type of music do you listen to particularly when you quilt?  Some of my favorites are Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Alan Jackson and Tim McGraw.
