This past weekend I had an adventure in NYC with Leah and Lindsey and the Michelle’s Dance Studio Dance Company. It was a whirlwind, super fun trip. These type of trips with a bus ride and planned events stresses me out like crazy so I’m considering it a huge victory on my part that I was able to go and enjoy myself. We had an absolute blast there. We left at 8am on Friday. The 4 hour bus ride turned out to be a 6 hour bus ride both ways but I had a good book and my Sashiko with me so it was fine.

Friday afternoon we discovered Times Square and the M&M Store and Toys R Us. Friday night we had dinner at Bubba Gump’s restaurant and then we went to see Matilda at the Shubert Theater. Saturday morning the dance company attended a dance workshop with a Matilda performer. Saturday afternoon we back to Times Square to go to the Hershey Store and the 3 story Forever 21 store. Saturday night we had dinner in Little Italy and then we walked to the Empire State Building and Macy’s store. Sunday we toured Radio City Music Hall and we were allowed on the stage and we met a Rockette. After that we had a few hours for last minute shopping and then we headed home. Here are a few pictures.
