How is it Thursday already???? This vacation is flying by faster than anything.
This morning I hopped back on the sewing machine and finished up the quilting on Leah’s turtle quilt! I just have to bind it now. The sewing machine is free motion quilting beautifully with invisible thread. It was slightly clunky with invisible in the bobbin and blue thread up top. I realize that may be from two different weights of thread but I wanted invisible on the bottom. I’m optimistic that the problem I was having with it is resolved.

Tuesday it snowed again…I snapped this photo in the morning when you could really see the flakes coming down and everything had a silvery glow to it.
My mom has been busy this week working on mini quilts from the First Seasonal Trio series. She made this cute version of Winter Pleasures with matching placemats…great job, MOM!!!!

Your quilting on the turtle quilt seems to be working beautifully, so I think you found the solution! I could not quit taking photos of the gorgeous snow, especially in the last days.
