Recently I was contacted by the Easy Canvas print company to see if I was interested in teaming up for a give-away. As an avid scrapbook’er and digital photography buff, I was more than happy to try out their product and offer my opinion. I was also thrilled to be able to include you all in a chance to win an 8″x10″ canvas print ($44 value). In exchange for my opinion, I was given a free canvas print as well. I am currently waiting for mine to arrive in the mail and once I have it, I’ll be sure to post a picture of it.
So here’s a quick synopsis of how easy it was to order one of these canvas prints. I’ll start by saying the first step is to choose which photo you want to have printed out on a canvas. I knew right away that I wanted to use a photo of my kids with my niece and nephew that was taken several years ago while apple picking. It has long been my favorite photo of this group together. My canvas is going to be 16″ x 20″ and is going in my dining room above my piano when it arrives.
It crossed my mind that an 8″ x 10″ canvas would be the perfect size to have a photo of a favorite quilt printed. If you made a quilt and wanted a way to display it on a wall in your sewing studio, this would be perfect.
Here are the key points you might be interested in when ordering.
- The website www.easycanvasprints.com was easy to navigate.
- The canvas sizes range from 8″ x 8″ ($39.99) to 30″ x 40″ ($174.50) – you would obviously want to use this service for very special photos/gifts.
- You can choose the thickness of the canvas wrap (how it goes around the sides of the canvas).
- You can choose if you want a frame (starting at $26.99).
- Uploading is easy…browse computer files, access Facebook album or Instagram (very cool!).
- Site lets you know if the quality of the image will work well or not.
- You can proof the photo as it will appear on the canvas. You can also move the photo up or down, side to side.
- You select the border you want (a mirror image, a continuation of the photo or choose a color).
- There is an option for a black and white or sepia color filter.
- There are options for retouching. All these mentioned options are available for a price.
- Wall mounts are available for $1.49 so you can hang your canvas as soon as it arrives.
I think this is a cool way to get a beautiful photo to look more like a piece of art for your home. I also think this would be a great way to present your company logo at a craft show!

Just yesterday, at an arts festival with my husband and daughter, I passed a booth that was photos printed on canvas. I said, “I should do that sometime with one of my travel photos.” And then I saw a reminder of your giveaway. Bingo!
