Quilt A Long

I’m still just so tickled from yesterday’s Quilt A Long which was day 1 of our project!

Six of us are participating in a four part workshop where we are making different variations of a Jacob’s Ladder quilt.
This is the block we are using:

Jacob's Ladder Block

Yesterday we learned the history of the block,  narrowed down our color choices, and printed out our patterns. We also made a practice block. In addition to the Christmas and Blueberry Pie versions below, we also have a blue monochromatic and a fall colorway being made!

If this excites you and you’d like to join along with us, please contact me at colwellsg@comcast.net or through these comments and I’ll send you the information.

I will be making the blueberry pie version as I can’t take my eyes off of the pattern! I just love it! Here are a few photos from our fun day –
The group super hard at work…Sharyn, Eileen, Priscilla, Gail, and Nancy.
