I finally made the leap from the practice quilt to a real one this week. I finished piecing the baby quilt, loaded it on the frame and quilted a lovely meander! I think it took me the same amount of time to load it as it did the actual quilting! It was fun and I learned as I went about advancing the quilt and knowing where to start and end a pass.
Ta-da!
I’m looking forward to quilting another one soon which will be my student, Nancy’s, beautiful star quilt.
We finished up seaming the back and cut the batting for it yesterday. I have it in my studio and will be getting to that soon.
I also made some progress pinning pieces of the Seaglass quilt. I have ten blocks left to piece and then I can begin sewing blocks into rows. I can’t wait to find time to finish them up.
If you’re looking for fall patterns, don’t forget to check out my Craftsy pattern store!
You’ll find these cuties and a whole lot more!
