Works In Progress

Happy Happy Wednesday!!!

This week has been a productive one around here. I’ve been mostly working on getting Leah’s Elsa costume ready. She has a Halloween party coming up soon and so it has to be done by then and of course, ready for Halloween night. Leah found a do it yourself type costume on the internet where you make the skirt, bodice and cape. The neck and sleeves are just a white t-shirt. I asked her if she wanted to order a costume but she really wanted it to look like the pictures she found. It’s turning out to be fairly simple. Basically all the pieces are made, we just need to get them all on her for a trial run.

Here is Leah helping to make the cape. The white snowflakes are fabric and the smaller ones that shimmer are painted paper. We used tacky glue to attach to the tulle.

This is how it will all look. She will have her hair done with a nice side braid just like Elsa’s.

This week I also started making drawstring backpacks and makeup bags for a comic show that a friend is vending. Hoping to finish those up today.

I am also working on setting up a store front on my website so that I can sell my patterns for cute projects like these right on my website….

Of course you can still find these on Craftsy in my pattern shop there. Eventually I’ll have some notions for sale there as well.

Hope you are having a crafty week!!!
