So long February vacation, I miss you already! The kids are back at it this morning and so am I….sigh. It was a great week complete with my birthday celebration and a quilty finish! Leah’s reverse applique turtle quilt is done and she’s pleased as punch…
My mom had a finish too…she’s working on the First Seasonal Trio mini quilts and she completed hers with another set of matching placemats…here is her Full Hearts mini quilt…
I meant to post this the week that I picked up my sewing machine from the shop and I forgot. This is what greets customers at the shop…The sign
reads, “I’m just waiting for my wife.”
Love it!
The countdown is on for me to gather my scrapbooking stuff and get it packed! I leave on Friday morning for a full weekend of scrapping fun in Connecticut. I have the photos printed and now I need to sort through papers and embellishments…
Have a beautiful day!

What great pictures! Especially the one with your daughter.
Thanks Jackie! It’s fun to sew for the kids.
The turtle quilt is absolutely gorgeous. Hope you enjoy your scrap booking retreat. And get lots done. I have managed to get my photos rearranged on the wall last weekend…that is as close to scrap booking as I am likely to get for a while
It’s hard to find time to scrap when there’s so much quilting to be done!!! LOL!!! Getting photos organized on the wall certainly counts though!
She is a very happy young lady!
The skeleton reminded me of the book Help! I married a Quilter that I found at The City Quilter. It is fun to read.
She’s been very happy with her quilt, Linda! I’ll have to check out that book, it sounds like a good one!
Happy belated birthday Sandi! The quilts are lovely!
Thanks Robyn! It was a great birthday. Leah is really loving her little turtle quilt so that makes my heart happy too.
