Happy Monday!!

We spent the weekend on Maidstone Lake in Vermont with our wonderful friends, the Milton’s. We have been fortunate to make this trip several times with them and we have had so much fun each time. We stay right on the lake at their family home and we generally don’t do much except have a good time – tubing, kayaking, swimming, eating, relaxing…ahhhhhhh. There is no internet or cell phone access so we truly are able to disconnect and enjoy the moment with everyone. Here is the view every day…

While I was away, I received notification that my Coming Down The Chimney pattern is now available for sale on QuiltWoman. Click here for the pattern link. You might remember seeing this one in McCall’s Quilting last year. Every once in awhile they use a previously published pattern as a free web extra (such as my Bootacular pattern). I’m not sure if they will do that again as they don’t notify the designer when they do this. It is there as a paper pattern and also a download. It has detailed instructions.
