I received an email from the wonderful folks over at QuiltMaker’s 100 Blocks with my information for Volume 7 and the blog tour and guess what? My Home Tweet Home block made the cover!!! It is in the 2nd row, 2nd block from the left. I was at quilt guild when I opened the email and I wanted to shout it out but I didn’t. I would hate to have distracted anyone from Jane Sassaman’s wonderful lecture on fabric!! So I came home and shouted out instead! LOL!!

This is Volume 7 which is coming to the newsstand very soon. There will also be a companion magazine with a quilt that I made using this block. I hope you’ll pick it up when it comes out. I will be joining the blog tour with QuiltMaker beginning on April 29th.

During the blog tour, I’ll be giving away a copy of Volume 7 and a copy of my book, Little Quilts For Big Occasions.

That’s my super exciting news this week! In terms of Workin’ On It Wednesday, I have completed project 11 and started project 12 (final one). I also finished the Mickey Mouse quilt for the church. I worked on the butterfly quilt and got this far on Sashiko…

Jane Sassaman’s lecture at our guild meeting was fantastic. I think I’ll cover that more in depth in the upcoming podcast.
